Stainless steel concealed stem soft sealed flange gate valve is a device used for regulating and throttling. Its valve plate is set on the valve stem through a nut, and the rotation of the valve stem drives the valve plate to lift and lower to complete the opening and closing action. This type of valve belongs to rotary stem gate valves, also known as concealed stem gate valves or rotary stem wedge gate valves. The design allows the valve stem to rotate at a fixed point to drive the valve plate up and down, thereby controlling the flow of fluid.
Structural characteristics
The main components of stainless steel concealed stem soft seal flange gate valves, such as the valve body and stem, are usually made of stainless steel materials, such as 304 or 316L stainless steel, which have good corrosion resistance and mechanical strength and are suitable for use in various harsh environments. Its sealing performance is excellent, usually using rubber or other elastic materials as seals, which can effectively prevent medium leakage, especially suitable for applications that require tight closure.
Working principle
The valve is driven by a handwheel or electric/pneumatic actuator to rotate the valve stem. The trapezoidal thread on the valve stem cooperates with the middle nut to convert the rotational motion into linear motion of the valve plate, thereby achieving the opening and closing of the valve. When the valve is fully opened, the fluid channel is completely unobstructed; As the valve gradually closes, the fluid channel gradually narrows until it is completely cut off, thereby achieving precise control of flow rate.
Application scenarios
Stainless steel concealed rod soft seal flange gate valve is suitable for a wide temperature range, from low to high temperature, and can work normally. The specific temperature range depends on the selected material and design standards. Due to its strong pressure resistance, the design pressure can usually reach 1.6 MPa or even higher, making it widely used in fields such as petroleum, chemical, power, environmental protection, and water conservancy to control the transportation and regulation of various fluid media.
