504-5 Special Sand Blasting Adhesive

    504-5 is a one-component or two-component special sand blasting adhesive. It is mainly applied to bond between sand and other material, such as paper, PVC film and cloth. Products bonded by the adhesive are with strong adhesion and excellent moisture resistance. The adhesive is the best choice to make various abrasive cloth and emery paper.

Technical performance index
1.Appearance: light yellow transparent liquid;
2.Solid content(%) : (50%±3);
3.Viscosity(25℃ mpa.s) : 800~1800

Process condition
1.Ratio
a. The adhesive and the diluent (ethyl acetate or dimethylbenzene) are mixed into
    130s~150s (#4 cup)
b. Ratio of main agent and curing agent: 10 : 2-3
     Add the formulated curing agent (b) into mixed liquid (a), and then stir the mixture well before using.
2.Temperature of Drying Tunnel: first stage:50℃~60℃; second stage: raise the temperature by degree until 120℃ above.
3.Flow velocity of coating material in drying tunnel is subject to the curing degree of adhesive.
4.The sand blasting adhesive will be one-component if no adding curing agent. Compound substrate should be baked at 120℃-160℃ in drying tunnel for 10~20 minutes.
