TELINGMASTIC 1550

TELINGMASTIC 1550 is a one-part  sealant, not contain silicone and silicon elements. TELINGMASTIC 1550 is air-moisture curing sealant. After polymerisation, TELINGMASTIC 1550 provides a tough, elastic and high performance seal and bonding. The sealant has a very good resistance to ageing and harsh weather.

▉   MAIN USES

TELINGMASTIC 1550 has been formulated to bond and provide elastic seal for all kind of application in the general industry (automotive, truck, bus, shipping industry, train, and container…).

TELINGMASTIC 1550 offers an excellent adhesion on most of the materials used in the industry like glass, anodised aluminium, PVC, Stone, ceramic, earthenware, polyester, lacquered metal, wood, and concrete.

▉   TECHNICAL DATA

Colour: White, grey, and black…                      Density:1.17.

Skin over time at 23℃and 50% RH: 90 to 120 minutes.  Modulus at break: 0.6 to 0.8 MPa.

Curing time at 23℃and 50% RH: 3mm/24h.              Can be painted and sanded.

Temperature resistance: -30℃to ﹢80℃.                      Consistency: Pasty.

Elongation at break: >250% (ISO8339).                  Slump resistance: Good (ISO7390).

A Shore Hardness: 35-40 (ISO868).                     UV resistance: Good.

Water resistance: Excellent                              Acid and base resistance: Moderate..

Resistance to solvents and hydrocarbons: Moderate.

Modulus at 100% elongation: 0.3 to 0.5 MPa.

▉   DIRECTIONS FOR USE

·Preparation: The surfaces must be dry, clean, free of oil and other contaminants that could affect the quality of the bonding. Open the gun. Cut the top of the sausage and put it inside the gun. Cut the nozzle at desired diameter install the sausage into the gun.

·Installation: TELINGMASTIC 1550 can be applied using a hand or pneumatic gun. It is recommended to apply the sealant at temperature between 5℃to 40℃. After application, the sealant can be finished using a damp jointnail.

·Recommendations: Protect surrounding surfaces of the joint using a paper-made adhesive tape when installing the sealant.

▉   SHELF LIFE & STORAGE

The shelf life of the product is 9 months in unopened container. Store at room temperature between 5℃ to 25℃.
