S7 Cold working die steel
S7 steel is ASTM standard steel number, is heavy duty tool steel and medium carbon alloy steel. S7 die steel has high chromium content, good tempering resistance and high temperature oxidation resistance. After annealing and softening, the original microstructure of rolled bar is F+C and must be used after heat treatment.
