1,Product Description

Gardenia Red is a red to reddish-purple pigment obtained by enzyme treating on a mixture of ester hydrolysates of iridoid compounds contained in gardenia fruits and protein decomposed substances. It is soluble in water and relatively stable to heat, light and pH variation.

With heavy metal, solvents residue, pesticide residue microorganism meet USP/EP/CP standards.

◆Red to reddish-purple powder or liquid, soluble in water and <30% ethanol, insoluble in grease and absolute ethyl alcohol

◆Good resisitance to light and heat

◆Oxidants and reducing agents have no adverse effect on pigments

◆Good staining for proteins and carbohydrates
