Hot Melt Butyl Sealant
FS-210 butyl sealant is a kind of single-component, solvent-free, 100% solid content, primary seal hot melt sealant for insulating glass. It has high adhesion in extensive temperatures. The butyl sealant has excellent adhesion for glass, aluminum, galvanized steel and stainless steel. Benefiting from its excellent vapor penetrability, it has good anti-humidity system when using with other sealants. It can be used for the manufacture of insulating glass units. If the sealant mix with an elastic sealant compound like silicone, polyurethane or polysulfide sealant, the mixture will form an excellent dual-seal system.
The FS-210 butyl sealant is used for first sealing of insulating glass. If you are interested one-station butyl sealant of insulating glass, we recommand the FS-221 series for you.
Contact surface must be clean, dry and free of grease. the sealant can be applied by butyl extruding machine (extruder) of special hot melt butyl sealant of IG production line. Its concrete condition can be achieved by adjusting temperatures and pressure. The preferred range of temperature can be from100°C to 150°C. The operating environment temperature should not be lower than 10°C.
