UHMWPE composite pipe is made of UHMWPE pipe and carbon steel pipe according to the scientific process. Its outer layer is the steel pipe with flange as the enhanced protective layer, and its inner layer is UHMWPE pipe as the matrix pipe. The inner UHMWPE pipe is extended out of the steel pipe and cover the flange face into a whole structure.

Main Characteristics:

1. Mining Steel-UHMWPE composite pipe with Extremely High Abrasion Resistance and High Corrosion Resistance. It's wear resistance is 4-7 times of steel, 3-4 times of HDPE;
2. Mining Steel-UHMWPE composite pipe can maintain High Impact Strength even in low temperature as -196 centigrade;
3. Mining Steel-UHMWPE composite pipe is extremely resistant to harsh environments, acids and most chemicals;

UHMWPE pipe also can absorb energy, absorb noise and resist static electricity. It can be colored.You can use UHMWPE pipe single or combine it with Steel Pipe to enhance the strength.

Materail: UHMWPE

Ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMWPE) is a linear polyethylene with an average relative molecular mass more than 2.5 million. Its long linear chains provide great impact strength, wear resistance, toughness, and freedom stress cracking in addition to the common properties of PE such as chemical inertness, self-lubricant, low coefficient of friction. Therefore, this thermoplastic is suitable for applications requiring high wear/abrasion resistance.

UHMW-PE, also known as PE-UHMW, is a polyolefin resin closely related to high density polyethylene (HDPE) that can be classed as a specialty engineering plastic.  It is an indispensable product in world markets having an incomparable combination of abrasion resistance, surface lubricity and impact strength, combined with the excellent chemical properties of HDPE.  It competes primarily with polyacetal, nylon, PTFE and, in fiber form, with polyaramid, but it also has many markets that are uniquely its own.

Mine industry: for Coal mine/Ore mine/ Metal mine applications, such as mine dredging , mine powder, mine slurry, mining tails,mine waste rocks delivery etc.

UHMWPE is unique for it's extremely  high wear resistance:

• 4 to 7 times of  steel
• 3 to 4  times of  PE&PP

It can be used for transport in almost any wearing & corrosive condition.
