Eco Triple Plus is an oil additive designed to improve the performance of lubricating oils by reducing engine wear and saving fuel. Eco Triple Plus is formulated with a premium blend of carefully balanced additives that represent the cutting edge of modern lubricant technology. Oils treated with Eco Triple Plus show improved anti-wear, anti-rust, solvency and detergency properties.
Eco Triple Plus is effective in all engine types including two-strokes as well as in gearboxes, differentials and bearing pumps.
Note: Eco Triple Plus must NOT be used in limited slip differentials that rely on friction to function properly.
In cars and trucks, Eco Triple Plus reduces engine wear and tear, increases power and improves economy. Maintenance costs and downtime are substantially reduced. Eco Triple Plus can only be used after the first oil change when the engine has bedded in.
Neat Eco Triple Plus is used with outstanding results in machine shops, in general drilling,
tapping, .punching, threading and broaching and for lathe work.
Eco Triple Plus improves the lubricity of oils giving longer bearing and ring life and a quieter engine. Eco Triple Plus improves the film strength of oils, enhancing the lubricity and reducing engine wear.
Solvency and Detergency
Eco Triple Plus improves the solvency and detergency of oils and inhibits deposition of gums and varnishes thus reducing deposits. In older engines, Eco Triple Plus will assist in slowly removing existing deposits.
Eco Triple Plus inhibits attack of engine parts by corrosive acids formed in the combustion of fuel.
Easy to use
For vehicle engines (including two-stroke engines), gearboxes and differentials add 60 1111, Eco Triple Plus per litre of oil. Do not use in limited slip differentials that rely on friction for correct operation. For bearings, pumps, etc. use 40 mL Tribe Plus per litre of oil.
After the first application of Eco Triple Plus the rate of use may be halved at subsequent oil changes.
1. Oil Viscosity
For commonly used engine and gear oils, viscosity will not be adversely affected by the use of Eco Triple Plus at the recommended rates.
A film of lubricating oil largely prevents mechanical wear in machinery. When an engine is running, oil is pumped over the moving parts and there is a sufficient supply of oil and wear is negligible. At engine start up, there is a brief period when there is insufficient oil to provide adequate lubrication and significant wear takes place. Oils that tend to coat the metal surfaces rapidly and efficiently at engine start up are said to possess good lubricity.
Corrosion also causes cylinder wear in cold engines. Combustion of fuel forms carbon dioxide and water together with acidic gases from the combustion of sulphur and hydrogen compounds present in the fuel. When the engine is hot the water and acidic compounds are vented through the exhaust system as gases. When the engine is cold, liquid water condenses on the cylinder walls and the corrosive compounds dissolve in the water forming acids that can attack the metal.
The engine oil provides the main protection against this type of wear by forming a thin film on the cylinder walls. Corrosion inhibitors are special additives added to lubricating oils to further inhibit corrosion during cold starting.
Studies suggest that over 90% of the wear in an engine takes place on starting and during the first ten seconds of running. It is estimated that the wear resulting from one cold start is about the same as that resulting from 500 km of highway driving with a warm engine and good oil.
To minimize frictional wear, it is important not to repeatedly start and stop the engine. Unnecessary engine starts add engine wear that is otherwise avoidable. Furthermore, avoid fast accelerations or heavy hauling. High engine load increases wear because the extreme forces on the parts squeeze out the oil film. Also, reduce short trips where operating temperature is never achieved, as this contributes to mechanical wear when the oil has not achieved its full lubricating capabilities.
Over time, various deposits accumulate in engines due to oxidation and degradation of the oil during its life cycle. Manufacturers incorporate various additives to the engine oil to control these problems by preventing the deposition of solids and/or emulsifying the sludge that does form.
In older engines or when cheaper oils are used, these additives are not adequate and deposits in the form of gums, varnish and sludge accumulate. Improving the solvency and detergency of engine oils prevents these problems from occurring and increases power and economy as well as reducing engine wear and maintenance.
Eco Triple Plus is an oil anti-wear additive designed to improve the performance of lubricating oils to which it is added. Oils containing Eco Triple Plus demonstrate improved lubricity, detergency, solvency and anti-corrosion properties. Improvements that translate directly into improved performance, improved economy and reduced maintenance costs.
i) The use of Eco Triple Plus will reduce friction and hence oil temperature, prolonging oil life and reducing formation of sludge.
iii) After the initial application, Eco Triple Plus may loosen and displace sludge that is already present in the engine.
3. Shelf Life
Indefinite when kept in the original tightly sealed container and stored in a cool place out of direct sunlight.
4. Affect on Seals
Eco Triple Plus does not adversely affect seals, rubber or plastic components.
5. Glazing of Cylinders
As a general rule, to allow adequate bedding in of piston/cylinder bore required by engine manufacturers, Eco Triple Plus is not recommended in new engines until the first oil change.
6. Lubricant Compatibility
Eco Triple Plus is compatible with all commonly used engine oils.
7. Power Generation Plants
Eco Triple Plus is suitable for use in this type of equipment. Since Eco Triple Plus prolongs the life of lubricating oils, significant benefits may be obtained.
8. Reaction with metals
Eco Triple Plus does not react with metals. However, due to the possibility of unusual alloys being present, Eco Triple Plus should not be used in conflict with engine manufacturers' requirements. Where doubt exists, the user should test for product suitability.
Eco Triple Plus contains a blend of corrosion inhibitors to retard corrosion of metal.
10. Exhaust Fumes
In normal well-maintained engines, very little lubricating oil should be exhausted via the combustion chambers. Eco Triple Plus will not adversely affect exhaust emissions.
11. Manufacturers Warranties.
Eco Triple Plus should not be used in conflict with engine manufacturers' warranty requirements. However, the largest proportion of an engine's lifetime is outside the warranty period.
The flash point of the oil may be temporarily lowered immediately after addition of Eco Triple Plus due to the presence of volatile components in Eco Triple Plus. These will be burnt off during normal running restoring the flash point to its original value.
Eco Triple Plus does not cause foaming of engine oil.
14. Oil Trnsportation
Eco Triple Plus is suitable for use with force-fed, splash and bath lubrication.

Eco Triple Plus reduces friction and hence oil temperature and thus prolongs oil life.
