The HDE infrared heater is the most powerful infrared heater on the marketplace, such that an asphalt contractor can reheat the longitudinal joint while paving at speeds of 25-35 feet per minute in normal temperatures. This allows recompation of the cold, uncompacted edge to meet tighter density specifictions, and also ensures a sealed, waterproof joint to ensure longevity of the pavement surface.
