There are two company technical research centers, declared 1 national invention patent, 1 PCT international invention patent, 7 utility model patents, which covered all production of feather absorbent products.

Feather Absorbents are proved to be higher efficiency and environment-friendly oil spill clean up products, which is made from a minimum of 80% processed poultry feathers of duck and goose, and or sandwiched by non-woven fabrics. The tested absorbency of such feather absorbents are 20-40 times of its own weight, about 2-4 times than polypropylene absorbents.

The filled feathers in absorbents are clean and have no bacteria like down and feathers in down jacket for the washing procedure and high temperature oven procedure. A recent study shows that feather absorbents can be easily biodegradated after oil removal.

The standard size of our absorbent mat is 40cm*50cm, the shape and size can also be made by customer’s request.
