In 1992, Toyama was established and only engaged in technology trade and business. From 1995 on, Toyama began to set up some factories in Mainland China with its business partners and then has become a group company with more 4 factories in China now. And the different factories produce different products and offer different services.
In 1996, Toyama set up a Battery Factory which has been specializing in producing Valve Regulated Lead Acid batteries. In 1998, in order to meet the strong market requirement for lead acid batteries in high quality but lower cost, we introduced some chemical microelement to be anticorrosive in battery plate, found by an expert in electrochemistry called Professor Yoshida Masayoshi in Toyama University in Japan. In addition, Professor Yoshida Masayoshi offered us a kind of special additive in mixing lead paste so that the active material cannot drop off from grid after vibration for 3 times based on Japanese Industrial Standard (JISC87-094). Furthermore, we have been using the same technical process adopted by some well-known Japanese manufacturers to produce lead acid batteries from plate making and battery assembling so that all of our batteries are very stable and consistent in quality. Since lead acid battery is our main business and our annual turnover is over 50 millions US dollar.
