Tungsten Carbide Insert(TCI) Tricone Bits

Ample hard facing is applied to the shirttail providing maximum protection against abrasion and insures the longest possible bearing life. S ested operating weights are 1,500 to 6,000 pounds per inch of bit diameter, while rotary speeds of 140 to 55 RPM give best performance. Rotary speed should be decreased as the weight is increased. Near the bit stabilization is also recommended for maximum bit life.
