Gypsum block is a kind of lump light wall material taking the construction gypsum (the calcined nature or byproduct gypsum) as the main raw material together with some water, then going through the processes of forming and drying. It has the advantages of light weight, tidy shape, smooth face, fire resistance, heat insulation, sound proof, high strength, aging resistance, and it is easy to operate(mill, nail or sawn); It can also adjust the indoor humidity. Thus it is widely used in the industrial and civil buildings as the interior wall material or decorating material, especially in the high-rise buildings.

Qualified gypsum powder is fed into a silo firstly, then it is conveyed by a screw conveyor to batching system. The powder will be metered and delivered into mixer with a certain amount of water and other additives. After being fully mixed, the finished slurry is pumped into the molding machine, which contains 22 molding cavities. After a certain time for initial setting, the scraper will scrape out the extra slurry from the cavity and shape the upper tongue of the block, while the bottom groove is shaped inside of molding cavity. After final setting, the wet blocks will be pushed out by the hydraulic lifting system which is equipped at the bottom of molding cavity. The spatial clamp will hold the blocks and move them to carriage with certain order.
The carriages will be driven into the drying kiln by electric controlled traction system on track, speed and movement is automatically controlled by program. The kiln is made of brick and concrete structure, with double tunnels inside and cross air system. There are 8 drying zones, total 24 chambers of 2 meter each. The hot air from natural gas burner will be blown into the kiln by cross direction so that the heat energy could be sufficiently used. The wasted air with moisture will be discharged from certain system.
The wet block will stay in the kiln for about 48 hours till they are totally dried. Then the blocks are delivered by traction system to a certain site, where the forklift will carry them for packing and loading.
