3. Physicochemical Properties:

White monoclinic crystalline or amorphous powder.

Its solubility in water is 0.02% (15). Easily soluble in acid and ammonium salt solution, it shall resolve and send out carbon dioxide while meeting with diluted acid. Heated to 300 and above, it shall resolve and produce water, carbon dioxide and magnesium oxide.
