Sunnyvale natural indigo powder is a natural dye from Indigofera tinctoria leaves, also known as Black Henna. Indigo is the only natural way to dye your hair black. It oxidizes when exposed to air and water so when the hair colour is mixed with hot water, the indigo is activated ready for use. Indigo contains a blue dye that when used with henna will dye your hair in a range of colours from reddish brown, light brown, brown, dark brown and black.
The henna/indigo special process can make your hair glossy, sleek and black. Indigo is a plant that has a dark blue dye molecule and works in a mildly base mix. If you use indigo over henna, you’ll get beautiful black results! After the processing, your hair will looks bouncy, straight and thick without any oily built-up and dandruff. The dye will have lingering effects in your hair and the highlights will be quite different.

Using Instruction
1. Before applying Sunnyvale, wash and dry your hair.
2. Mix henna with enough lemon juice to make a paste as thick as yoghurt. let that sit over night (up 12 hours) at room temperature (23-25°C) for dye release.
3. Apply the henna paste thick into sectioned hair, clear down to the scalp. When the hair is completely covered, wrap up the hennaed hair in plastic wrap and stay for 2 hours, then rinse all the henna out of the hair and towel dry. Now you get a coppery red color over white hair.
4. Mix indigo powder with slight warm salty water to the consistency or yoghurt. Put the indigo paste immediately into your hair. Do not wait for dye release from indigo.
5. Section the hair and smear the indigo mix thick down right to the scalp. When all the hair is thickly smeared with indigo paste, wrap the hair with plastic wrap, and rest for at least 1 hour. Rinse the indigo out of your hair. You'll get beautiful black results in your hair.
6. Mix henna paste and indigo paste together in different ratio. The more indigo you add, the darker the brown. The more henna you add, the redder the brown.
7. All the stain will darken over the next 3 days. After first time using this product, you’d better re-dye your hair second time in two weeks in order to get deeper and richer in colour. Then the colour can stay in your hair for a long time without any fading.
8. Afterwards, you can do the roots only a few times between full hair applications.
* Henna paste can be stored in freezer half year, in fridge 3~4 weeks and can be re-used more times
* Indigo paste can’t be re-used again.
