I. Description

Chlorinated polyvinyl chloride(CPVC) is made from PVC chlorinated by chlorine gas in solvent surrounding . It can offer good electrical insulation, thermoplasticity and membrane forming capacity, chemical stability, resist corrosion and water, dissolved in acetone, hydrochloric ether, arene, ester and some alcohol.

CPVC shares most of the features and properties of its close relative, PVC. It is also readily workable, including machining, welding, and forming. Because of its excellent corrosion resistance at elevated temperatures, CPVC is ideally suited for self-supporting constructions where temperatures up to 200°F (93°C) are present. The ability to bend, shape, and weld CPVC enables its use in a wide variety of process applications including tanks, scrubbers, and ventilation systems.

IV. CPVC Applications

-Production CPVC pipe, delivery of hot water and corrosive media.

-Used as hot water polution pipe, plating solution pipeline, heat chemical reagents pipeline, wet chlorine gas pipeline of chlor-alkali plant.

-Injection Parts: water pipe fittings, filter material, dehydration machine, electrical and electronic components. Such as wire slot, the layer of conductor protection, power switch, fuse protection covers, cable insulation materials.

-Rolled sheet: used to manufacture chemical resistance products, corrosion-resistant chemical equipment such as reactors, valves, electrolyzer etc.
