Application:
Suspension rod composite insulator series productions are suitable in the systems of power generation, power transmission, power transformation, and power distribution under AC 220kV and below. They are used to insulate and support the electrified part.

Suspension rod composite insulator and polymer shed booster, featured small size, light weight, high strength, resistant to heavy pollution and free from clean maintenance, grows fast as a new generation of insulation for high-voltage transmission lines.

Condition of Use:
1. Ambient air temperatures within the range of -40 celsius to +40 celsius;
2. Altitude above sea level not exceeding 1, 000m; (If the altitude is higher than 1, 000, it needs adjust. );
3. Frequency of A. C. Power supply not exceeding 100Hz;
4. The mechanical load no more than the rated value.

Compound insulator is composed of insulator mandrel, silicon rubber umbrella cover and metal part connection in the both mandrel is short for epoxy resin glass fiber lead main function of insulator mandrel is to support mechanical  has a very high tensile strength up to specific strength(tensile strength/weight) is about 5-6 times as good structural carbon steel.and it won't descend too many with long term also is a main part of internal mandrel has a very high insulation property even it affects by damp.So it can satisfy machine and electricity strength requests of compound Insulator well.Silicon rubber umbrella cover is mainly used to protect insulator mandrel from rain or snow.
