Solar Generator System consists of solar module, solar controller, storage battery. If the output is AC 220V or 110V, the inverter is also needed. The function of each part is :
1.Solar module: solar module is the core in the solar generator system, also has the highest value. Its function is transferring the sun’s radiation into the electricity and storage it in the storage battery, or promoting the load working.
2.Solar Controller: The function of solar controller is controlling the whole working condition and protecting the battery from over storing and over discharging. In the large temperature difference area, the qualified solar controller should have the temperature compensating function. The else attached functions, such as light-controlling switch, time-controlling switch .should be the chosen item.
3.Battery. The nominal battery is plum bum acid battery. But the nickel hydrogen battery and the Li battery can be used in the miniature system. The function is storing the electrical power which the solar panel sends out and discharges it when it is need.
4.Inverter: the solar energy’ output is DC12V, DC24V, DC48V. The DC-AC inverter is needed because the DC electricity of the solar generator system. Should be changed into alternation current in order to provide electricity into the electrical equipment with 22VAC.
5.The factors should be considered for designing the solar generator system:
  1.Where is the Solar Generator System working? How about the solar radiation?
  2.How large is the load power.
  3.What’s the output voltage of the system, DC or AC? And the frequency(50/60Hz)?
  4.How long should the system work?
  5.How many days should the system supply electricity if there is no sunshine but the rainy and overcast days?
  6.In the loading case, pure resistance, pure capacitance, or inductance. How large is the starting circuit?
  7.The number of the system needs.
