The brick is a traditional building material that has been used for centuries in construction.  It’s been such a widely used building material that we relate the brick’s esthetic with warmth and security.

Old hand made bricks were formed in wooden molds and then placed in wood burning ovens. They did not have exact dimensions and each brick had its own color and unique texture depending on the raw materials used. This unevenness gave to the buildings used, that special character.

Nowadays we find the same old bricks as byproducts of demolished old buildings and usually they have missing edges and mud residues from when they were originally built. PLINTHOCHROME hand made bricks are formed by hand just like in the old days. However their composition and tempering is altered using state of the art technology. By this way PLINTHOCHROME hand made bricks conserve the virtues and esthetic of old bricks but with none of the problems of the old ceramic bricks. This is the reason why in recent years this particular product range has seen an impressive development in sales across the world.
