Introduction:
This IDE/ATA SATA Bi-Directional Adapter is designed for providing an easy solution for D.I.Y users to connect any existing 3.5” IDE hard drives or 5.25” ATA / ATAPI devices to the new Serial ATA bus, or SATA hard drives to the PATA bus, an ideal interconnect device for multimedia application.
This Adapter is compliant with Serial ATA (Generation 1) Specification with peak data transfer rate up to 1.5 GB/s (150MB/s) on the SATA side and is compatible with Ultra ATA133 on the PATA side.
