Performance

This product is the new generation of leather tanning agent that develops from modifying the glutaraldehyde tanning agents. It has overcome the irritating smell caused by high content of glutaraldehyde, the emergence of insoluble materials in water caused by polycondensation, and the yellowing of treated leather in color. The leather after treatment is soft, not liable to be oxidized, convenient for storage, smooth and fine on surface, flexible and ductile. It can assist to dye and present even dyeing. The treated leather is washing-resistant, sweat-resistant, acid-resistant, alkali-resistant, and plays a role of filling as well.

All the performance of the product may compare well with products other foreign products.

 

Application

This product is mainly used as leather tanning agents. Also, it is applicable for per-tanning, re-tanning and combination of tanning of chrome leather, as well as tanning of fur. It can be used in acid, alkali and neutral conditions. The dosage of which is 2-5%(according to weight of cutting well-proportioned leather), keeping PH at 4-5 or 7-8, optimal PH 7.0, tanning temperature : 10-40 ℃, optimal temperature : 30-35 ℃, liquefied ratio : 1-10, optimal range : 1-2.5, rotating time no less than 0.5 hour.
