It has powerful curing acceleration effectiveness and good plateau effect, but the rubber material easy to scorch. When it is used as primary accelerator, it need activation with zinc oxide and stearic acid. It is usually used in combination with thiurams acceler-ators or basic accelerators such as guanidines, aldehyde-amines, aldehyde ammonia in order to increase its activity.

Applications include tires, hoses, rubber belts, rubber footwear, rubberized fabrics and common rubber product. It neither discolors nor contaminates and can be used in white and tint product, but it isn’t suitable for rubber product touched with food.
