(Ⅰ) stainless steel recognition reagent:     SSRR-Ⅰ

This determination liquid distinguish material based on anti-rust capability .If anti-rust capability of steel is worse, the color of position with the liquid will turn in red more quickly and the color will be darker; otherwise is the opposite.

Drop a glob of determination liquid on the surface of material and need not to switch on power.

For 200 series stainless steel without nickel, position with the liquid will turn in wine in about 5 seconds

For 200 series stainless steel with 1% nickel, position with the liquid will turn in brick red in about 30 seconds;

For 202 stainless steel with 4% nickel, position with the liquid will turn in light brick red in about 5 minutes;

For 301 Stainless Steel with 6% nickel or better stainless steel, position with the liquid will not change in 15 minutes.

Note: any dust, dirt, grease on steel surface shall be cleaned before test. All foresaid test results are approximate and for the stainless steel with same brand number, phenomena will be slightly different if tissue, composition and other anti-rust capability have changed.
