BP-127 is an organo clay (modified montmorillonite), designed especially for use in solvent based system. It is especially recommended to be used in high polarity resins such as epoxy, and high alcohol percentage solvent systems.
It is s ested to be used to replace Bentone27.

Application
In solvent based paint. It is mainly s ested to be used in industrial paint such as marine paint, container paint, anti-corrosion paint and anticorrosive paint.
Using
1 BP-127 disperses under high shear and requires a polar activator for best efficiency. Heat is not required to obtain good dispersion. Addition levels are typically in 0.2%~2.0%. Dosage of polar activator (95% ethanol or 95% methanol) is 30%-60% of BP
