Continuous Bucket Conveyor
Product Description
KRD continuous bucket conveyors are designed to gently convey powders and bulk materials in minimal space horizontally and vertically, especially in the confectionery and food industry.
During the horizontal-vertical-horizontal transport the product remains safe and undisturbed in the bucket. Metered feed at the inlet results in gentle product handling and not scooping the product minimizes wear and tear on the buckets.
The SEB 1/05 and SEB 2/05 models combine a higher conveying capacity at less required space. KRD designed the Continuous Bucket Conveyors using large buckets from the type SEB1 and type SEB2 but with smaller chains, idlers and support rollers from the type SEB05. This enabled the casing dimensions to become narrower to fit in between existing equipment at a capacity up to 18 and 23 m3/h. Also, the infeed height is decreased by using smaller idlers, which gives the user more open space to the ceiling to fit further equipment on top.
The Continuous Bucket Conveyors type SEB 1/05 and SEB 2/05 are available as heavy-duty models or as food-approved versions with all standardised extra options like removable side covers for easy cleaning or polycarbonate windows and doors.
The type SEB conveyors can be built according to the ATEX regulations
