Chemical formula: K2CrO4, molecular weight: 194.20, melting point: 975 degree celsius. Soluble in cold water of 1.6 times and in hot water of 1.2 times. The solution shows alkalinity. Insoluble in alcohols. Strong oxidation. Poisonous.

Application

Used in the manufacture of chemical reagents, and pigments etc.

Notice

1. Store in shady and well-ventilated storehouses.

Keep away from incendiary unit, heat source and sunlight.

Please put in airproof packaging.

Do not store with reducing agents, combustibles and food chemicals.

2. Operators should wear dust mask, one-body rubberized chemical protective clothing and rubber gloves. No smoking in workplaces.

3. In case of leakage, the polluted area should be quarantined. Entry and exit should be strictly controlled. The leaked material should be gathered, reclaimed or transported and disposed in the waste-disposal station.

4. Wash and detoxify the container with residual detrimental substances.
