Main machine of IIA compressor can continue operation for 20 years. We have carefully monitored the moving parts of main machine of 37kW air compressor and measured the dimensional accuracy of moving parts on the compressor which has operated 500h, 3000h, 5000h and 10000h, result is as shown in table below：a little bit wear occurred when operating 500h and hardly any change in dimension from 500h to 10000h. This result is tally with our design contemplation and with the operating rule of mechanical equipment either：that is, after running-in short time between various grinding pair，the stable oil film is formed between each other, under the action of oil film, they make fit naturally and mutually bring out the best in each other. In practice, this can be made out from another simple angle：RPM of the main machine of IIA air compressor is 1500r，it means that friction of 1500 times per minute should be carried out between various grinding pairs，well than 7800000000 times per year，under so many numbers of frictions，if a little wear occurred between them, well then the data of wear is considerable. What we are delighted is that sliding-vane air compressor of IIA is persistently, permanently and stably operating.
