The major use of HDF is for door as skin, or surface panal in decoration.
MDF is normally used as core of melamine board in furniture industry.
There are too types of MDF board in the market. One of them is very cheap and with terrible low quality, it is made by mixed wood fibre, industrial waste, even ploy bag, vegetable and rubbish.
Generally speaking, MDF thick board meets E2 standard, For the thin board, customer can choose E1 standard products, the price is a little bit higher than the E2 products.
MDF is a uniform density panel having a fine, smooth surface that is ideal for shaping and routing. MDF may be easily painted, cut, machined and cleanly drilled without splintering or chipping. |
