1.Metallic Random Packing
The advantages of metal tower packing: thin wall, high void and capacity, low fluid resistance, low pressure drop, high separating, cold and heat proof, long lifetime and heat & corrosion resistance, applied to handle the thermal- sensitive, hard to separation and easy carbonized materials in the vacuum rectifying towers.
The pall ring packing has characteristics of low pressure drop, high flux and high efficiency. Improved packing has lower pressure and higher mass transfer efficiency than pall ring in the same size. In addition, improved has good distribution for liquids in the packing bed
Materials: stainless steel, carbon steel, aluminum, copper, bronze, 304L, 316L and aluminum permeated steels, reinforce polypropylene, reinforced nylon6, nylon66, reinforce PBT, etc.
Applications: various separation, absorption and desorption equipment, normal atmospheric pressure reduced and vacuum distillation plant, decarburation and desulfuration systems, ethy1 benzene separation, and Iso-octane/toluene systems .
Metallic random packings include Conjugated rings, VSP ring, Intalox saddles, Twin curved saddles, HQM flat ring, Cascade ring and Pall ring.

2.Metallic Structured Packing
Standard metallic packing includes:
1) Metallic perforated corrugated plates
2) Metallic thorn-like perforated corrugated plates
3) Metal plates
4) Corrugated nets
5) Metallic threadlike perforated corrugated plates
6) Corrugated metal wire nets
They are widely used to separate heat sensitive materials in vacuum fraction processes in the petroleum, chemical, flavoring and pharmaceutical industries. They may also be used in isotope separation.
