Usage: Used as a raw material for the production of methyl vanillin and ethyl vanillin in the spice industry. In the pharmaceutical industry, it is used as an intermediate for the synthesis of antihypertensive drugs such as atenolol, D-hydroxyphenylglycine (a national key development pharmaceutical intermediate), broad-spectrum antibiotics, amoxicillin (oral), acetophenone, amino acids, etc. It can also be used as an intermediate for varnish raw materials, dyes, plastics, and agricultural chemicals. It can also be used to produce capsule pigments and allantoin, which are intermediates for anti ulcer pharmaceutical products and daily chemical products.
