Anti-aging silica masterbatch is a functional masterbatch with silicon dioxide (SiO₂) as the main component, which is specially used to improve the anti-aging properties of plastic products. Because of its excellent stability, high specific surface area and good dispersion, silica is often used as a basic material for anti-aging additives. By combining silica with functional additives such as antioxidants and light stabilizers, the masterbatch form can be more conveniently applied in plastic processing.

Main component
1. Silica (SiO₂) :
As a carrier, it provides a high specific surface area and adsorption capacity to help evenly disperse anti-aging components.
It has chemical inertness, high temperature resistance and corrosion resistance, which can enhance the stability of plastics.
2. Antioxidant:
Prevents degradation of plastics in high temperature or oxidizing environments.
3. Light stabilizer:
Absorb or shield ultraviolet rays to reduce the damage of light to plastics.
4. Dispersant:
Ensure that the silica and other functional components are evenly dispersed in the plastic matrix.

Action mechanism
1. Antioxidant effect:
As a carrier, silica helps the antioxidant to disperse evenly, effectively trapping free radicals and inhibiting the oxidation reaction of plastics.
2. Anti-ultraviolet effect:
Silica itself has a certain reflection and scattering effect on ultraviolet light, combined with light stabilizer, further enhance the anti-ultraviolet performance.
3. Enhance stability:
The chemical inertness and thermal stability of silica help to improve the performance of plastics in high temperature environments.
