Top pins and drivers are mainly used in plastic and die-casting molds to separate molded products from the mold.

For special occasions, DLC and TiN coatings are applied to the surface of the product. Recommended occasions for using coated top pins:

1. For molds with fast cycle forming or requiring long-term service life;

2. Molds that cannot use lubricating oil (such as medical molds, etc.);

3. Use molds made of materials that are prone to gas production (such as engineering plastics, glass fiber containing resins);

4. Molds with easily worn top pins (die-casting molds, containing fiberglass resin);

5. Require molds with high wear resistance, demolding ability, and corrosion resistance;
