Production Methods

Esterification Method：Use butyric acid and butyl lactate to make it by esterification with acid catalyst like sulfuric acid. Control reaction temp, time and ratio for higher yield and purity.
Acyl Chloride Method：React butyryl chloride with butyl lactate in presence of base catalyst to get it. High reactivity, need to control conditions to avoid side - reactions.
