Homogeneous reaction is a chemical reaction in which all the substances participating in the reaction are in the same phase, and it does not have interphase mass transfer Although there may be considerable differences in the concentration of materials in different spatial locations of the reaction system, the reactants, reaction products, solvents and catalysts can be considered to be uniformly distributed with respect to any of the differential volumes.
