Introduction:
According to the principle of pressure swing adsorption, the nitrogen generator uses carbon molecular sieve as an adsorbent to produce nitrogen from the air at rated pressure. After being purified and dried under compression pressure, pressurized adsorption and reduced pressure desorption are performed during adsorption. Due to aerodynamic effects, the diffusion rate of oxygen in the micropores of carbon molecular sieves is much faster than that of nitrogen. Oxygen is preferentially adsorbed by carbon molecular sieves, and nitrogen is enriched in the gas phase to form finished nitrogen. After that, after reducing pressure to normal pressure, the adsorbent desorbs impurities such as adsorbed oxygen to achieve regeneration. Generally, two adsorption towers are set up in the system, one for adsorption and nitrogen production, and the other for desorption and regeneration. The PLC program controller controls the opening and closing of the pneumatic valve to alternate the two towers to achieve the goal of continuous production of high-quality nitrogen.
