Triple insulating glass units, also called IGU,it is the most effective way to reduce air-to-air heat transfer through glass.Insulated glass commonly consists of two or more panels of glass separated by a spacer material and sealed together at the edge. The insulating airspace is filled with air or a noble gas, such as argon or krypton inside. are designed to keep inside warmer in the winter and cooler in the summer.This construction increases the insulating value of the glass unit, thus reducing the u-value. A triple insulating glass unit is especially useful in applications where a low u-value is necessary.
