Ginseng Extract Introduction
Ginseng extract is extracted from the roots and stems and leaves of Ginseng, a plant in the family of Cinchonaceae. It is rich in eighteen kinds of ginseng monomeric saponins, soluble in water at 80°C and easily dissolved in ethanol. It is mainly used for symptoms of coronary heart disease, angina pectoris, bradycardia, rapid heart rate, premature ventricular eruption, blood pressure disorders, neurasthenia, menopausal syndrome, excessive fatigue, post-illness, post-natal and post-operative weakness, etc. It can prolong life and enhance physical strength for a long time and treat cancer patients' immune deficiency caused by radiotherapy and chemotherapy, etc. It has anti-cold and heat stress effects. It also has the function of enhancing the vitality of human surface cells and inhibiting aging.

Pharmacological effects
Experimental results show that ginsenosides can significantly inhibit lipid peroxide formation in brain and liver, reduce the content of lipofuscin in cerebral cortex and liver, and also increase the content of superoxide dismutase and catalase in blood, which has antioxidant effect. In addition, some of the monomeric saponins in ginsenosides such as rg3, rg2, rb1, rb2, rd, rc, re, rg1, etc. can reduce the content of free radicals in the body to varying degrees. Ginsenosides can delay the aging of nerve cells and reduce the memory damage occurring in old age, and have the effect of stabilizing membrane structure and increasing protein synthesis, which can improve the memory ability of the elderly.

Ginsenosides
