How To Maintain Heavy Duty Car Battery?

1. Check battery voltage once a month

If a lead-acid battery is allowed to discharge partially or completely, it will greatly shorten its service life. Check the voltage with a voltmeter once a month for a healthier battery. A fully charged lead-acid battery should have a voltage of approximately 12.7 volts or higher. If the voltage is below 12.5 volts, it is best to charge the battery as soon as possible.
