912 Operation Instructions

Step 1: prepare the original silicone pad molds

Clean the mold with detergent and dry it by a piece of cloth or an air gun and then coat the mold with a layer of release agent.(The release agent could be Vaseline,detergent,liquid wax or suds).

Make sure your original molds smooth and Clear .

Note: TM912 is a kind of condensation silicone ,Since you start to test our condensation cure silicone before,please make sure that you have cleaned the tools if you use it for addition silicone before.

Step2: Mix part A and silicone oil

Usually the original hardness of the TM912 is around 30 shore A , you may add silicone oil to adjust the hardness , when adding 2% silicone oil , the hardness will reduce 1 shore A .The percentage of silicone oil added should be not more than 30% . Adding silicone oil into the part A and mix it evenly

Step3:Add part B into the mixture of Part A with silicone oil and mix them evenly.

＊Notes:After the Step 2 by adding and mix the silicone oil evenly ,add catalyst into the mixture (The mixing ratio is 100:3. That means the total weight of mixture of Part A and silicone oil : Catalyst should be 100:3 ) and mix them evenly .

1.Weigh the exactly weight by electronic weight. If not , for example add two much Part B, the operation time will be too fast to operate ,which will cause difficult to operate .

2.Mixture should stir evenly.

Otherwise the silicon rubber will be partly solidified and this will give birth to difficulties in your final operation. What’s more, the finished molds will meet a short life. All of these will cause a waste of silicon rubber.

Step4: Vacuum pumping

Without exception, this step takes less than 10 minutes. Otherwise, it will cause cross linking reaction, and no more further steps will be available.

Step 5: Pouring the mixture into the original mold

＊Notes:1. Put an wooden borad on the surface of the silicone pad and set an hole on the board to make sure the board will closely stick on the pad .

        2.Wait till the silicone pad totally cured before put into production.

Warm tips:

The general operation time (pot time) is about 30~40 minutes, and the demoulding time is about 3-4 hours under the room temperature of 25℃.
