Heparin sodium is an anticoagulant and sticky polysaccharide substance. In human body, it is secreted by mast cells and naturally exists in blood. Heparin sodium can prevent platelet aggregation and destruction, inhibit the transformation of fibrinogen into fibrin monomer, inhibit the formation of thrombin and fight against the formed thrombin, prevent the transformation of prothrombin into thrombin and the effect of antithrombin. Heparin sodium can delay or prevent blood clotting in vivo and in vitro. The mechanism of its action is very complex, and it affects many links in the process of coagulation. The anticoagulant effect of heparin sodium is related to the negatively charged sulfate in its molecules, and the positively charged alkaline substances such as protamine or toluidine blue can neutralize its negative charge, so it can inhibit its anticoagulant effect. Because heparin can activate and release lipoprotein esterase in the body, hydrolyze the triglyceride and low-density lipoprotein of chylomicron, it also has the effect of lowering blood lipid.

Application:
