Rc-zy-2-medium pressure ultraviolet sterilizer consists of a 304 or 316L stainless steel reactor and high-energy medium pressure standard 3-20kw ultraviolet lamps arranged in rows inside the reactor.

Like low-pressure ultraviolet disinfection equipment, each ultraviolet disinfection lamp is protected by a quartz sleeve. The quartz sleeve is automatically cleaned by an air driven cleaning equipment, and the cleaning cycle is adjustable. The ultraviolet disinfection lamp tube is powered by an electromagnetic ballast. Each reactor has an independent bulb drive housing containing flat ballast and other bulb power supply components. Due to the simple design of modular components and high-energy medium voltage bulbs, the equipment maintenance becomes simple.

The control functions of all medium pressure ultraviolet disinfection equipment reactors are placed in one equipment control cabinet. PLC controls the operation of the equipment with a touch-screen operation interface. An important function of the software is to control the ultraviolet disinfection process, monitor the equipment status and give an alarm in time. This fault protection equipment ensures the safety of operators and equipment.

The inactivation efficiency of rc-zy-2-medium pressure ultraviolet sterilizer is determined by the spectral output of ultraviolet lamp. In the ultraviolet spectrum area where Cryptosporidium is inactivated, the medium pressure ultraviolet disinfection equipment adopts an efficient medium pressure mercury lamp. Each ultraviolet disinfection lamp tube is equipped with an ultraviolet sensor. Another key technology of medium pressure ultraviolet disinfection equipment is quartz cleaning technology. One basis of this design is a stainless steel brush used to clean the quartz surface and prevent the formation of a dirt layer. The cleaning device consists of many stainless steel wool, which can move back and forth by using the air cylinder washer. The movement frequency of the washer can be adjusted by the operation interface on the control panel.

In general, the UV disinfection equipment is designed with a UV dose of 40 MJ / cm2 at the flow rate to ensure that the treatment target is achieved. The inactivation rate of Cryptosporidium and Giardia is directly proportional to the UV dose in water. The UV dose is expressed in MJ / cm2 (or MWS / cm2).
