Flexcell Flex Jr.? Tension System allows you to stretch cells in a single baseplate or in real-time with a microscopy device. The Flex Jr.? is a smaller capacity, computer-regulated cell stretching bioreactor system that applies cyclic or static tensile strains to cells cultured in vitro. In vivo tissue strains and frequencies are simulated to view real-time responses in cells from muscle, lung, heart, blood vessels, skin, tendon, ligament, cartilage, and bone.

Stretch cells in a single baseplate or in real-time with a microscopy device:

• Smaller capacity, computer-regulated bioreactor that applies cyclic or static tensile strains to cells cultured in vitro.
• Regulated vacuum pressure deforms flexible membranes in a single Flexcell® 6-well culture plate and in Flexcell® microscopy devices.?
• In vivo tissue strains and frequencies simulated to view real-time responses in cells from muscle, lung, heart, blood vessels, skin, tendon, ligament, cartilage, and bone.
• State-of-the-art digital valve automatically regulates and maintains pressure for a specified strain regimen.

Single Plate BioFlex® Baseplate Kit

Add strain to 3D tissue culture with a variety of baseplate options:

• Single Plate Baseplate Kit includes a single plate baseplate, one 6-place 25 mmm Loading Station, one BioFlex® Cell Seeder, one BioFlex® gasket, two BioFlex® culture plates, and Loading Station grease. (Sold as part of the Flex Jr. System.)

StageFlexer® Jr.

A compact device designed to accept single membranes removed from the well of a BioFlex®, Tissue Train®, or UniFlex® culture plate and observe signaling responses to strain in real time.

• Uses single 1-inch well membrane
• Continue to strain cells while observing responses in real-time on a microscope stage
• Able to vary strains based on loading posts of different geometries
• Achieve gradient biaxial strain by freely deforming membrane in open chamber
• Apply equibiaxial strain to membrane by using a cylindrical loading post in chamber
