What is uv phototherapy?

If due to atopic dermatitis, psoriasis or other allergic, inflammatory diseases and itchy skin affections are widespread,physicians-dermatologists prescribe phototherapy of full-body UVB 311 nm combined (UVA and UVB rays) or PUVA (psoralen + UVA rays). UVB 311 nm (narrow wave) phototherapy is a type of phototherapy, for the treatment of which used only 311–312 nm ultraviolet (UV) rays. They suppress inflammation, therefore perfectly fit for the treatment of inflammatory skin diseases.

Compared with broad wave (290–320 nm) phototherapy, narrow wave technology greatly reduces the probability of side effects (premature skin aging, wrinkles, skin cancer).Combined (UVA and UVB rays) phototherapy – is a type of phototherapy, when for treatment of which used UVB and UVA rays. With its

Cautions before lighting
-Operators and patients should wear special UV goggles to protect their eyes.
