The IPC movement developed based on RV1109 and RV1126 media processing chips of Ruicore Micro Semiconductor has a 38 board structure, which is divided into motherboard, sensor board, 4G/WIFI board and POE board. Ruixin RV1109 is a high performance machine vision processor SoC for INDUSTRIAL PC or artificial intelligence vision applications. It is based on a dual-core Cortex-A7 32-bit kernel, integrated with NEON and FPU. Each core has a 32KB I-cache and 32KB D-cache and 512KB uniform L2 cache. The built-in NPU supports INT8/INT16 hybrid operations, with computing power up to 1.2TOPs. In addition, based on TensorFlow/MXNet/PyTorch/Caffe and a series of framework of network model has strong compatibility, can be easily transformed.
RV1109 also introduces a new generation of hardware-based 5-megapixel ISP (image signal processor) and post-processor. The algorithm accelerators commonly used in IPC and CVR are realized, such as HDR, 3A function (AE, AF, AWB), LSC, 3DNR, 2DNR, sharpening, Dehaze, fisheyes correction, gamma correction, feature point detection, etc. This is all real time processing. With two MIPI CSI (or DS/ SUBvDS) and one DVP (BT.601/ Bt.656 / Bt.1120) interfaces, users can set up a system that receives video data from three camera sensors simultaneously.
The video encoder embedded in RV1109 supports 5M H.265/H.264 encoding. It also supports multi-stream coding, with high support for a 5M30FPS and a 720P30 simultaneously. With this capability, video from the camera can be encoded at a higher resolution and stored in local storage, while another low-resolution video can be transferred to the cloud storage. The H.264/H.265 video decoder in RV1109 supports h.264 and H.265 of 5M. RV1109 has a high performance external DRAM (DDR3 / DDR3L/DDR4 / LPDDR3 / LPDDR4), to maintain high demand of memory bandwidth.
