Damping plate, also known as cement or damper block, is a viscoelastic material attached to the inner surface of the car body. It is attached to the steel plate wall of the car body, mainly to reduce noise and vibration, that is to say, to play a role of damping. All cars are equipped with dampers, such as Mercedes-Benz, BMW and other brand cars. It is widely used in spacecraft, aircraft and so on.
