Product Features
Leeyd electrical transformers are sturdy, elegant, shock-resistant and easy to install. Suitable for measuring current, energy metering, and ground fault protection in the AC circuit of 0.66kV and below. (The default rated frequency is 50Hz and optional 60Hz). The shell is made of flame-retardant polycarbonate plastic (injection molding) with a heat-resistant temperature of 130°C. The magnetic material is made of high-permeability, high-quality cold-rolled silicon steel. The winding wire is made of high-strength polyester enameled wire (in special cases, strong temperature-resistant polyester enameled wire with strong adhesion is used). There are clear wiring diagrams beside the terminals. All current transformers manufactured by Leeyd Electric are produced according to the National Standard GB1208-2006 for measurement and protection purposes.
Selection of current transformers
First, orders need to know:
1. Please specify the model, specification, rated current ratio, accuracy and rated capacity of the transformer
2. Please specify the installation method (the company provides regular type A and D-type mounting accessories, type II provides D-type mounting accessories).
3. If there are special requirements (accuracy, capacity increase, protection type, high temperature resistance, secondary current of 0.1A and use under special conditions, etc.), please contact our company to order on-demand.
Second, the current ratio and capacity selection
1. According to the measured current size, select the rated current and rated current ratio, generally more than 2/3 of the load current.
2. The working current does not exceed 1.1 times of the rated value for a long period of time. It is allowed to be used for a short time when the 1.2 times of the rated value, and the time does not exceed 1 hour.
3. The total impedance (including wiring) of the secondary load should not exceed the rated load of the transformer.
4. Because the current transformer secondary load calculation formula is S = I²Z, according to the transformer secondary calculation formula,under the same load, the secondary current of 5A transformer line power consumption is 25 times of 1A, when the meter is being installed If the position is far away from the current transformer or the loop load is large, the transformer with secondary current of 1A should be preferred.
5. In case of a special environment in one-time small current and must pass the core and pass only one trip, it is recommended that users use a transformer with a secondary current of 1A.
