Flame Retardant Lydorflam 5202

Description

Lydorflam 5202 is a nitrogen-phosphorus based halogen free flame retardant, through char-formation and gas phase inflaming theory to function fire retardation, mainly applied to glass fiber reinforced PBT and PA 6.

Ø Featuring high heat stability, no migration, no precipitation and small adding dose.

Ø With good comprehensive performance, water resistance and electrical property. An ideal substitute for bromine-antimony flame retardant.

Typical Applications 

Applied to glass fiber reinforced PBT and glass fiber reinforced PA 6.

Recommended Dosage

Precautions

• As volume density of Lydorflam 5202 is large, it is critical to disperse well flame retardant for flame retardation effect and its process. To ensure better effect, it is recommended to add appropriate dispersant in the formula to improve dispersion and processability of flame retardant.
• Sufficiently control moisture in raw material to avoid moisture effect to product performance.
• Reasonable process temperature is required, avoid flame retardant being decomposed at high temperature; the process temperature range is recommended: 220℃ - 240℃.
