The detachable lightening arrester,installed in drop-out fuse cutout,is one kind of products that is remodeled from metal oxide arrester. In the case of electricity supply,operators can detect ,repair and replace the arrester by using operating lever,which not only ensures free-flowing current,but also greatly reduces the working strength and time of power maintainers. This product is especially suitable for places that cannot without power such as post and telecommunications ,airports ,stations ,hospitals,
downtown business districts. The function of the detachable lightening arrester is the same with that of metal oxide arrester.
The second generation of drop-out lightening arrester is added with a disconnector. When the lightening arrester is operating out of the way,the earthing grip of the disconnector will automatically disengage from the arrester and the arrester turns over to the ground and stops operating thus prevent further expansion of the accident. It is also easy for maintainers to detect,repair and replace the arrester timely. The principle ofturning over to the ground is similar to that offusion tube when fuse blows in fuse cutout.
