Motor Start Capacitors

Electrolytic capacitors are employed in single phase induction motors in order to increase their starting torque.

It is necessary that such starting takes place in a fraction of a second and that once starting has occurred the capacitor is disconnected from the circuit by means of either a starting switch or relay.

The capacitive element is made of aluminium foils treated and separated by a leaf of impregnated paper as the electrolyte.

Application

This series of capacitors are ambipolar and widely used. It can be used in the start-up of single-phase AC motors(50Hz or 60Hz)to gain greater torsion at lower starting current.

The product is produced by using high-purity electronic aluminum foil as the polar plate, using the dielectric materials of capacitor tissue and alumina. Adopt metal, bakelite resin or engineering plastic as shell and lug wire of cable terminals; Small volume, little loss, long life-span, wide range of capacity and voltage.
