Physics and chemical properties:
4-CPA is the white powder, its boiling point is 157-159°C.
Toxicity data: Acute oral LD50 for rats 2200 mg/Kg; acute dermal LD50 >2200 mg/Kg. Irritating to skin and eyes. LC50 for fish: carp 3-6ppm, loach (48hr) 2.5ppm, water flea >40ppm.
Application:
4-CPA is belong to auxin class, it is also a plant growth regulator.
It can promote growth, prevent the formation of abscission layer.
It has the effect of inducing the parthenocarpy.
It is safer than 2,4-D after application, and not easy to produce phytotoxicity.
It can be absorbed by plants roots, stem, flowers and fruits, and biological activity lasts longer.
Notice:
1. Be sure to fixed point when spray flower(only spray flower not spray stem and leaves), and should choose a sunny morning or evening.
2. When application the pury product, first dissolve with alcohol or high concentration, and add water to the required concentration.
